Tania Haddad
About Tania Haddad is an Assistant Professor of Public Administration and Nonprofit Management and Co-Director of the Global Engagement Initiative at the American University of Beirut. She is leading scholar on civil society and volunteering in the Arab World. Her research focuses on civil society and gender issues, social justice, nonprofit management, volunteering, disaster management and public policy. Her research has appeared in many academic journals, including the International Journal of Voluntary and Nonprofit Organizations, Nonprofit policy forum, and The Journal of Nonprofit Education and Leadership. She recently published a book on the Beirut explosion titled: "International and Local Actors in Disaster Response: Responding to the Beirut Explosion".
