Jihad Yazigi
About Jihad Yazigi is the founder and editor in chief of The Syria Report, a subscription-based online economic digest on Syria. For the past two decades he has written extensively on Syria's economy, political economy, finance, business world, and international relations. He has authored or co-authored several research papers for the European Council on Foreign Relations, Chatham House, the European University Institute, and the Friedrich Ebert Foundation. He is also the co-author of a forthcoming report on Syrian-Lebanese financial ties. Between 2013 and 2014 he co-established and managed, in collaboration with the Carnegie Middle East Center, a working group on Syria’s post war economic reconstruction challenges. Jihad Yazigi has provided research, advisory and consultancy services to regional and international businesses and organizations. He is a visiting fellow at the European Council on Foreign Relations.
